Apex Legends

Apex Legends eDPI calculator.

Use this Apex Legends eDPI calculator to multiply your mouse DPI by your in-game sensitivity. The page also estimates cm/360 with the common Apex hip-fire yaw value so you can understand the physical turn distance behind the number.

Formula

The basic Apex Legends eDPI formula is:

Apex eDPI = mouse DPI x Apex sensitivity

For the cm/360 estimate, AimScale uses the common Apex hip-fire yaw value of 0.022. eDPI is most useful when comparing Apex settings with other Apex settings.

Apex eDPI Examples

These examples show how Apex eDPI and cm/360 change across common DPI and sensitivity pairs. They are reference points for interpreting your result, not prescriptions for how you should play.

Equivalent Apex Settings

If your target is 1200 eDPI, these settings are equivalent on paper. The raw sensitivity changes as DPI changes, but the calculated hip-fire turn distance stays the same.

How To Use The Result

  • Use eDPI to compare Apex settings that use different mouse DPI values.
  • Use cm/360 to compare Apex with Valorant, CS2, or another FPS game.
  • Test close tracking, recoil control, and wide turns before changing again.
  • Keep ADS and per-optic adjustments separate from your first hip-fire comparison.

Common Mistakes

  • Comparing Apex eDPI directly with Valorant eDPI. The games use different sensitivity scales.
  • Changing DPI and Apex sensitivity at the same time without checking whether eDPI stayed the same.
  • Copying another player's eDPI without considering mousepad size, play style, and arm movement.
  • Ignoring cm/360 when switching from Apex to another FPS game.
  • Expecting hip-fire eDPI to describe ADS or individual optic settings.

Common Questions

Is 400 DPI at 3.0 the same as 800 DPI at 1.5?

Inside Apex, both settings produce 1200 eDPI and should be close as a hip-fire baseline if your mouse and system input are consistent.

Can I compare Apex eDPI with Valorant eDPI?

Not directly. Valorant and Apex use different sensitivity scales, so cm/360 or a game-aware converter is better.

How do I keep the same Apex eDPI after changing DPI?

Divide your target eDPI by the new mouse DPI. For example, 1200 eDPI at 1600 DPI uses 0.750 Apex sensitivity.

Why include cm/360 on an eDPI page?

cm/360 turns the Apex setting into a physical distance, which makes the number easier to interpret and compare across games.

Does Apex eDPI include ADS or optic multipliers?

No. The calculator describes the base mouse DPI and hip-fire sensitivity pair. Tune ADS and per-optic values separately in Apex.
